The Illinois Valley Meals Pantry’s Thanksgiving Distribution will probably be held on the pantry on Saturday, Nov. 17, and somebody needing to obtain meals will have to be registered with the meals pantry by means of Nov. 14.
Volunteers will pack meals for roughly 1,500 folks — which is 600 households wanting meals help.
The pantry serves folks dwelling in Los angeles Salle, Peru, Oglesby, Utica, Cedar Level, Tonica, Lostant, Leonore and Lowell. Deliveries to homebound, aged folks dwelling in LaSalle, Peru and Oglesby will probably be Monday, Nov. 19.
To be eligible for the meals order, folks will have to be registered with the meals pantry.
“The faces of starvation are converting. Your fortify could be very a lot preferred,” says Donna Hess, pantry govt director.
Steered pieces to donate
Rapid potatoes, boxed stuffing combine, canned corn, inexperienced beans, small can of yams, Jell-0, small corn muffin combine, envelope of gravy combine, small can of cranberry sauce, turkey, money or tests.
